MicroTraffic Diagnostics for State DOTs

MicroTraffic's diagnostics have triggered more than $200M of road safety decisions at highway intersections.

The top actions / applications from our analytics in a highway environment so far have been:

  • Decision to install intersection conflict warning system

  • Decision to install a roundabout

  • Rapid determination of roundabout safety effectiveness

  • Closure of median and conversion of minor road to right-in-right-out

  • Decision about need for a grade separated intersection

TRB / AASHTO / ATSSA Special Offer (max 10 States)

MicroTraffic has met many State DOTs at TRB 2020, ATSSA 2020 (New Orleans), and is looking forward to meeting more at the 2020 AASHTO Washington Briefing.

In conjunction with the 2020 AASHTO Washington Briefing, we are offering $20k in value added services for any state that signs a pilot letter of intent (LOI) by March 31st.

A typical pilot includes diagnostics at 20 intersections, or before-after studies at 10 intersections. Some pilots have been for as many as 100 intersections.

The $20k in value added services includes either video collection (not normally included), or the development of intersection improvement technical memos which extend beyond the diagnostic risk data and provide guidance on the best course of action for improvements.
