Computer Vision Deep Learning / AI Engineer

DESCRIPTION
Use state of the art deep learning and other artificial intelligence tools in a computer vision setting applied to road user object recognition and motion tracking. The Computer Vision team's goal is to produce accurate classified road user trajectories (position and speed) from a large variety of camera types, video qualities, camera angles, and lighting levels.
REQUIREMENTS

M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field focused on deep learning techniques for computer vision
-
Application of deep learning computer vision techniques to video motion tracking problems desirable
-
Ph.D. desirable
-
Previous software development experience in a commercial environment is considered an asset

Demonstrated strong background in computer vision algorithms for detection, tracking, classification, camera calibration etc.

Knowledge of machine learning methods for computer vision tasks

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in C++ and Python

Experience with OpenCV and other computer vision libraries

Experience in GPU programming (e.g. CUDA, OpenCL)

Familiarity with Linux software development environment

Software Quality Control Specialist

MicroTraffic is looking for highly motivated individuals to perform a variety of quality control functions as part of our software development and implementation team. The time commitment required for this position is flexible and can accommodate a wide variety of work schedules. This position will begin as a trial period and transition to a more established working routine determined collaboratively by the individual and the MicroTraffic operations team. This is a great opportunity for students or others who prefer a flexible working arrangement.
Duties include:
- Observerving of traffic footage and documenting traffic activity
- Testing software functions and capabilities
- Operating traffic analytics software

Compensation:
- Starting at $11.50/hr with raises for meeting accuracy and speed performance milestones
